Angry CentOS 5.5 Will Only Loads With USB Attached...Annoying...


I successfuly installed CentOS to my Dell laptop using CentOS_5.5_Live_DVD.iso and mounting it to a USB flash drive with iso2usb.exe, Now my laptop will Not load CentOS when I remove the USB flash drive, I get a messege saying "no system found", If anyone could help me with this problem I will appreciate their time, Thanks

Your problem is exactly what you said; why did you mount it to a flash drive in the first place if you don't want to use it?

well i thought it would install to the laptop's harddrive, the problems is the target laptop (3years old) will not read the new DVD-R or DVD+R, I cant find the good ol' ones, right now i do not have 7 cds which would be the other option

Seems like you didn't create the bootloader on your hard drive... Install grub and point it towards your installation on sdaX or hdaX, whichever one is correct.
