cdrom accessing through Desktop

when I try to access cdrom using mount it works, but by using GNOME/KDE desktop, it is displaying cdrom icon, but when I click icon it is displaying like this

"THERE IS NO ACTION ASSOCIATED WITH CD/DVD ROM
"You can configure GNOME to associate applications with file types. Do you want to associate an application with this file type now? " AND DISPLAYING TWO OPTIONS
1)CANCEL
2)ASSOCIATE APPLICATION

when I click 2nd option , I was unable to determine what to do in that ?
