the line for the CD recorder in /etc/fstab is:
none /mnt/cdrom supermount dev=/dev/scd0,fs=auto,ro,--,iocharset=utf8,umask=0 0 0
also, I can read CDs with the CD-recorder (no problem), I can erase a CDRW and I could write successfully a 4 mb CD with only 1 file, but if I try to burn anything big (500 mb) it hangs the whole computer just at the beginning (0% always)
I don't know where is the limit in size for what works and what doesn't, but it's quite funny.
I re-installed cdrtools(cdrecord) from the website yesterday, but it's the same.
And it recognizes the burner correctly. What can it be?
