Unhappy CD Mounting/SUBFS problems, Suse 9.1

Hey-
i have Suse 9.1 Pro, and seem to be having a great deal of difficulty with the subfs/automount system.. Mainly the fact that its not working for me... I can insert a cd and open up Konqueorer thru "My Computer" to browsethe CD contents. That works fine.. But when i close the window, and press the eject button, the drive wont give it up.. If i re-open "My COmputer" and press eject on screen, the drive spits out, but quickly pulls the disk back in.. I have to go to console and manually unmount to get my cd.. Then, to use another cd, i have to manually mount..

What am i doing wrong here?

Thanks,
-myk

I have another post at PCPitstop and the Suse Support Request..

If i happen to find an answer before someone here, i'll be sure to post it in case someone else runs into the same problem..

Probably nothing. SuSE's damn implementation of SUBFS sucks. Typically locks up my laptop and if not, it refuses to mount/umount.

I also have help requests out, if I can't get this fixed it's back to 9.0 for me.

On a side note, how are things in your bustling metropolis? Getting enough rain?

I'm over in Lewisburg myself.

Found it:

http://portal.suse.com/sdb/de/2004/0...rom_subfs.html

It's in German, so Babelfish it first if needed.
