Question CD catalog software - freeDB aware

hi

anyone know of any CD catalog software which is freeDB /CDDB aware ?

i've got 500 or so music CDs i need to catalog and index and what i really want is a straight forward bit of soft so i can load a CD in the drive, linux goes online and looks it up in freeDB/CDDB and i can then accept the choice and the data goes into a searchable database of some sort

the thought of manually entering all that info makes my fingers itch

GUI would be nice, but not essential

any ideas

thanks

neill

most KDE and Gnome audio software
Rythymbox and amarok
Cdplayer
kcd
etc

have no problem autoplaying and fetching FreeDB info for my CD's it will cache every CD it plays you you dont need to download info twice

but you arent really clear in your idea of search database

i simply mean a searchable list

so i can find out exactly which tracks exist in the collection, on which CD, keep tarck of how many CDs there are etc etc

i don't need to rip or play them, just catalog
