Captive and 2.6.10
Hi there,
I'm trying to get read/write access to my ntfs partition but have been having problems all the way. I'm using Gentoo 2004.3 with the 2.6.10 kernel and tried to first of all emerge Captive and was told it was a masked package, masked by x86 keywords, so I typed: Code:
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge captive Code:
Laptop root # mount -t captive-ntfs -o 'umask=0000' /dev/hda1 /windows HELP!!!! Chris |
captive usually is built as a module. is that module loaded into your kernel?
|
How could I tell?
|
run 'lsmod' and post the results.
|
Seemingly no then:
Code:
Laptop root # lsmod Code:
Laptop root # modprobe captive |
