Wink Getting there regarding flash player

ok here is what I did so far
(1) sudo nautilus
(2) opened usr folder
(3) open lib64
(4) opened the Mozilla folder (that i created along with plugin folder)
(5) opened the plugin folder
(6) deleted the plugin folder and then the Mozilla folder
(7) recreated the Mozilla folder, opened it recreated the plugin folder
(8)copied and pasted the libflashplayer.so into the plugin folder
(9) closed the plugin folder and the mozilla folder
(10) copied and pasted the mozilla folder across to usr/lib32
(11)reopened iceweasel and can now play videos on youtube
as regarding facebook games, farmtown is now loading correctly put keeps going into offline mode.

Is there anyway I can install this plugin in Chromium

@bacon_cabbage so you now have the flash plugin working in iceweasel/mozilla that's fine, you can use the same plugin for chrome with a symlink, depending which version you are using.

something like

#ln -s /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so /path_to_chrome_plugin_dir/libflashplayer.so

or you can try the non-google chromium which I use, a guide and download link at

http://minimallinux.blogspot.co.uk/2...m-browser.html

The instructions are specific to that particular chromium version

The 64 bit version is not tested but its worth a look. A command you can use if you want ALL the mozilla plugins including java etc is

#ln -s /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/* . /usr/lib/chrome_plugins_dir/

All Good, that link is for the official Google-Chrome browser, whereas the link I posted is for Chromium, reputedly without any spyware.
