Cant shutdown puppy linux aka Linux 2.6.33.2(i686)
sometimes also it wont start up correctly and I have to do the reboot command because everything loads with done next to it, except for setting up services. Then Sometimes I will be prompted with the "#" after all this and am forced to use the "reboot" command. Then when I try to shut down it does but then right away puppy linux comes back up. I have no idea how this started to happen. Is there a way to repair my installation? Please help!

On a full install. I guess because I don't run full installs on my boxes. You could try the boot cheatcode puppy pfix=clean or puppy pfix=purge Quote:

Boot cheat codes are given at the boot puppy screen. A live cd boot should be able to handle this. I hope. Like I said. I don't run full installs of Puppy linux. Just frugal installs. Quote:
Note: The below statement was done in a live cd session. Hardrive was probably mounted with pmount. Then all content in /tmp folder was deleted. Quote:
