Cant see XP in Grub after installing Ubuntu

Hi all,
I just installed ubuntu 9.04 to my laptop. It had XP previously. Now when i start the computer, the Grub page comes but I cant login to XP from there.

I know XP is still there because I can see it from ubuntu. I installed Ubuntu on a seperate partition that i created while installing ubuntu.

How can I get XP on GRUB menu. Here are my partitions:

unallocated unallocated 7.84 MiB
/dev/sda1 extended 194.72 GiB
/dev/sda5 ntfs /media/disk 192.72 GiB
/dev/sda6 linux-swap 1.91 GiB
/dev/sda2 ext3 / 28.61 GiB
unallocated unallocated 65.75 GiB
/dev/sda3 ntfs HP_REC 9.00 GiB

sda5 has XP, sda6 has ubuntu swap, sda2 has ubuntu, sda3 is HP recovery partition, and unallocated is free.

Sorry for this question, Is it possible to boot XP if it is in a logical drive..? what about the /dev/sda1 and how it has become extended partition...curious to know, pls.

If it is bootable from /dev/sda5, then have you checked with ubuntu's /boot/grub/menu.lst ? It may show you the windows entry there something like this..

title Windows
rootnoverify (hd0,4)
chainloader +1

If this not there, pls try these entries there and reboot.

pls revert back.

Ubuntu should have detected XP and automatically put it in the Grub list. Do what sagaar said.
