cant run startx... pls help... tnx in advance

i cant run startx...
im using RedHat 6.2...
my system:
AMD Duron 800
Epox 8KTA3 Mobo
NVIDIA GeForce2 Ti

what seems to be the prob?
does my version of linux supports this vga card?
whenever i "startx"... it displays trash..
even if i try some cards in XConfigurator...
pls help..
if i upgrade to 7.2 or later..
will my problem be solved?
thanks...

It's hard to help you withount knowing what error you get. When running 'startx' it prints messages, please copy it here.
And yes, upgrade to RH7.2/7.3 should help, but you should be able to configure your current X correctly.
