Today I finally decided to switch from Linux to Ubuntu.
I did fully install Ubuntu, but everytime my notebook goes in sleepmode and wakes up my mouse will not work anymore. When I do a reboot it works fine until I let it sleep (even if its for 10sec).
So I was like oke no Ubuntu for me so I downloaded Mint and did install it, even with mint I got the same problem im trying to fix it for the whole day without any succes.
I hope you guys can help me!
Notebook:
Asus laptop
On almost all forum post this was the fix:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-input-all
My screen is not frozing so I can use the Cnrl + alt commandos, its only my mouse that freezes until reboot.
Package 'light-locker' is not installed, so not removed
Sorry. I see nothing in dmesg relating to your mouse freezing up.
It would have been listed under the usb section I would think.
Maybe try another mouse is what I would try.
Edit: I just remembered. On my atom netbooks. I bought a cheap Chinese A/C power adapter to replace my blown one. It would freeze the touchpad mouse the minute I plugged in the charger. Even if I used XP Windows. I got by this issue using a external mouse while on the charger.

This notebook did work for 2 years on Windows, without any problems with my mousepad.
I also have the output after my mouse frozes, this a picture cuz I cant copy paste without a mouse:P http://imgur.com/a/1On2k
Well. Your screenshot which I can barely make out on this small screen laptop.
Shows usb errors on sections 301 through 302 or more <Can't really tell on this small screen>
Which are missing from your dmesg post. Go ahead and try using code tags < hash mark on tool bar under advanced reply button under quick reply window>

Instead of quote tags. It makes things easier.
