Cant log in into Red Hat 7.1
 

I'v installed red hat 7.1 and it's impossible to log in. I follow the rule of lower and upper case and It still refuse to accept the username and password. I had RH 7.1 installed last summer without problems. The installation I made this time is a copy from same CD-discs as I used last summer. I even tryed to install without LAN-card in the computer but no, It don't work.

Pleas help me solve this mysterious "thing".:newbie:

That's odd what here is what you can do.

To fix all your authentification problems restart the computer and at the lilo prompt type:

linux single

That puts you in as user root and then you can change your root password at will and also any other user.
