cant install centos 7 net install on HP i3-b080sa laptop
 

hi guys,

trying to duel boot win 10 and centos 7

i have tried both usb and dvd net install
the system starts and i get 3 penguins then a black screen and no activity

when i go to troubleshooting i see its complaining about xwindows not being able to start.

there is a text installer available

am i better off downloading a full install dvd?

or wont this matter as it may be that the graphics card is not compatible with centos 7?

if i install via text mode will it sort the display out after the install completes...

also,will the install detect my win 10 install and allow me to boot both os's?

From the black screen, try to get to a text console with Ctrl-Alt-F2. If you can, do

ok got to anaconda tty2 and ran the Grep command

grep: no directory found

i was sure to be case sensitive

any other ideas?
