Unhappy cant get linux mint to boot after install it


i did down load and install to live cd. I try to install it in a separt drive like I:\ drive

Did you actually complete the install successfully? You should have received a message to that effect.
If not, from what site did you download? Which iso image did you download? Did you burn the downloaded image as an image? What software did you use to do this?

How? Did you boot your computer with the Mint CD in the drive and your CD drive set to first boot priority in the BIOS?
