cant find x includes
 
when im configering this programe i want to install i get an error cant find x includes

how do i fix this

You need to install kernel-source package for your kernel. In terminal:
uname -r
will tell you which kernel you are using. Download and install the kernel-source for that kernel and it should solve your problem.

Your going to need to install the x11-org or xfree dev package for your distribution.

What distribution are you currently running?

DUh... I must have missed the last line on your first post... Guess I should pay more attention...


I have no earthly idea what package management system that uses so I leave this as to somebody who has used kubuntu before to tell you how to find/install the package.

ok im 99% sure my kernal is 2.6 so i found what i think is the scource @ http://www.kernel.org/ and now i dont know which one
