I downloaded wine Binary RPM files from winehq.com but problem is, i install it right, then i install the bug fix one too, so i got both of the files downloaded and both installed, now i cant find the WINE CONFIG FILE@!!! its suppose to be /.wine/config
directory, but seems its not ive reinstalled mandrake about 6 times already, thats the truth!
WINE's config files are stored in your /home/*username/.wine directory. Its hidden, so you'll have to enable yourself to see hidden files before you can open it. Theres an option to "View Hidden Files" in the "View" menu on most desktop environments. It isn't at "/.wine" its at "/home/*username*/.wine"
Hope this helps! Don't feel bad either, I was stumped by the same problem once.
if u installed using rpms u dont get it
u can use the same config file. this is sample given by wine source installation. place it in folder ~/.wine/
i think this might help u
