cant enable visual effects on ubuntu 9.04
 
hi guys i have a problem and i hope you can help me fix this.
the problem is that when i want to enable the visual effects by system>preferences>apearance and i select the visual effects nothing happends and i get a box that says could not enable the visual effects.
soo my question is wath is wrong? do i need to download something? or can i not use it i have a integraded grhaphics card a x3100 its a dell inspiron 1525 i hope u guys can help me out thanks

known problem when the graphical card has not enough memory or the correct driver is not installed.
Try to solve with (I bought a second hand card to solve this problem) an extra graphical card. Switch the on-board card off in the BIOS.
