cant enable 3d acceleration

the only problem im having now is enabling 3d acceleration when i enable it, it just disables it again

what distro are you using? what type of card are you using? are you trying to use nivida drivers from the nivida site (if your card is nivida) please give a tad more detail.

sorry about that im using suse 9.3
nvidia geforce 4 mx 4000 pci
i installed the drivers from the site the latest ones 7676

I had this probelm with Suse 9.3 and resolved it by installing the nvidia drivers using YOU instead of using those from the nvidia website.

installing the drivers from YOU? whats that is that the yast update if it is tell me how i can obtain those drivers....

i dont see any updates about nvidia on yast online update
