Cant download any software from the internet eg.casino software, rpg, mmorg, etc.


i cant figure out how to download any software ive tried with the archive manager and auto-prompt I am new to linux so any help would be great I believe im running Mint 17

Typically, software is downloaded from the Mint repositories. If you can't find what you want there (specific packages may not be included) you have to look on the net for linux friendly versions. Not sure whether these applications will have a linux presence.

I had a look at mmorpg.com and I didn't see an easy way to download anything. I use Fedora and had a look there but no trace. Hopefully someone with a bit of gaming knowledge may be able to help more.

Don't "download" from the 'net. That's an old habit.
Use the Repos, where it's safe and known to work, which is not always "newest".
Another fallacy.... newer is 'better'.

New tools.
New skills.
New horizons.
