cant connect to wpa2 network in puppy

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop w/ a dell wireless 1395 WLAN mini card. I recently installed linux Puppy4.3.1(I am a complete linux noob btw) I was having issues detecting the card at first but was able to solve that using NDISWrapper. Now I can connect to unsecure networks using Xautoconnect but have no idea how to connect to my network when it is encrypted with WPA2. I have went through the internet connection wizard about a hundred times; I click 'configure wireless network',choose my network, it finds a live network, then i Auto DHCP and it says config successful and i click done. After this, I'm completely lost. I try to connect to the internet and it doesn't work. I have heard that i need Wpa_supplicant in order to connect to WPA2 networks so I have installed that using puppy package manager. but still have no idea how to use it. Would appreciate any help at all.
