can't connect php to mysql on RHEL5.0 in phpinfo page --without mysql is there

HI,
mysql works fine. & php also works fine but through php i'm not able to connect to mysql. in phpinfo page conf there is --without mysql. help me to connect to mysql.

hmm at a prompt.. sudo yum install php-mysql and see what happens
