I am using Fedora 7 and I mounted a windows share and it is assigned ownernship to "33" and I can't change it. I tried logging in a root, but still no luck. My search for documentation about owner "33" has turned up nothing.
How can I change the ownership of my folder so I can read/write to this share?
Thanks but I have done this already. The share is set up the same as my other windows shares and they all work fine. My real question is - who is owner/group "33" and why can't I change ownership. BTW - I can't even give ownership to root.
