cant acess cdrom through prompt
 
i'm a super newb. I can't gain acess to my cd rom contents entering the /mnt/cdrom dir. when i type ls i get nothing. whats up? thanks

presuambly you haven't mounted it....

mount /mnt/cdrom

assuming it's set up correctly in /etc/fstab
