Canon MX860 - prints fine with USB cable to LinuxMint14 box; However

I'm dumbfounded how to 'switch on' the wireless capability that my wife has working with XP.
I have a wireless network in the house with WEP encrption; however unsuccessful getting file from laptop to printer short of a cable.
Any ideas, greatly appreciated.

Have you looked into "localhost:631"?
Stick that in your web browser, and try "Add Printer" under the Administration tab.
