Canon 650U XSane Greenish Image
I have Red Hat Linux 9 running on my intel pentium 2.8 GHz desktop. The installation of xsane and sane backends are installed as part of red hat distribution.
When I plugged in my scanner and scanned with it, the image is greenish. I know the Canon N650U uses green light to scan but this is too much for an image to be green too! This is a USB scanner anyway. By the way, I can preview and scan properly. The only problem is the greenish image. Please help. Thank you in advance.... |
I have a simliar problem with my scanner as well. I am using a canon N340P (serial) on Mandrake 10.0 Official. I can scan items perfectly but they are all in red. I tried my scanner in windows and it scans the colors correctly. Oddly enough on Mandrake it has no problem scanning in greyscale. But when I scan in full color ot turns out all red. Is there a way to solve this? Maybe some sort of calibration cammand for the scanner?

Same troubles with scanned image
I use SuSE9.0 Personal with SANE and xscanimage and I'm having the same color-problems: the whole image is way to red, I'm trying now to adjust the gamma manually, but I think this is not the way to solve this.
Advice would be very appreciated!! Thx a bunch already |
