Unhappy Cannot print from the command prompt with my STAR TSP700

Hi i am really new to linux suse and i just want to know which commands would help me to print in SUSE 10.1 from the command prompt, because my printer works perfectly outside the prompt, using File-Print in any application, so i wonder in anyone knows the correct commands to print from the prompt or could anyone recommend me a good linux suse tutorial for printing please??

if you have a postscript printer you can use:

lpr file
