cannot mount volume


i finally got linux ubuntu install

now i want to open up a dvd which i copy several ebooks to
but i am getting this error:" Cannot mount volume
Invalid mount option when attempting to mount the volume 'UDF Volume'.:

Posting the contents of your fstab, along with how you're trying to mount it might help. No mind readers here (that I know of)

idk what fstab is

i was trying to open up my dvd-r disk which i had backedup various pdf books i had on windows to aide me to learn linux
