Cannot mount a USB stick on FC4 Stentz

hi is there anyone that can suggest me a better way to mount a usb stick on Fedora core 4 Stentz , I have used
mount /dev/sda1/mnt/USB DISK -- (USB DISK came up when I plugged in the USB stick)

but then I ended up wiht the message that USB DISK not found in /etc/fstab/

Thank you very much for any inputs from you folks.

Fabian

if you copied that correctly, it's just a problem with your syntax. The command should be

mount /dev/sda1 "/mnt/USB DISK"

Are you sure there was was a space in USB DISK? If there wasn't, then you don't need the quotation marks.

However, I think that Fedora would mount it under /media. Try looking in /media. You say "USB DISK came up when I plugged in the USB stick". That sounds to me like Fedora already automatically mounted it. See if it isn't already in /media.
