Cannot log on - Fedora 11
 
Hi all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I am having problems with log on. It takes me a good 10-15 tries to finally log on. Any suggestions.

The description of the problem is too short.
Is it graphical or in text mode?
Is the keyboard well configured (keymap, distribution and capslock) in the given environment?

Do you mean 15 times without change (same user/pass)? (this would be REALLY odd)

If you can login try changing the password and then try log in again.

Yeah it takes 10-15 tries with the same username/password to finally log on. The only diagnostic aid that I notice is that the fedora promt music gets cuttoff, then soon after I go right back to the log on screen.

I appreciate any help anyone may offer.
