Have you enabled the extras repo? Yumex is available in extras.

Do a yum search
For eg.,
Code:
[shrikant@shrilinx ~]$ yum search yumex
Loading "fastestmirror" plugin
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Loading "downloadonly" plugin
Loading "changelog" plugin
Loading "protectbase" plugin
Loading "tsflags" plugin
Loading "kernel-module" plugin

Ok first go to /etc, you should find a directory called 'yum.repos.d' there. Inside this you can find all the repo files which you got installed like fedora-core.repo, fedora-development.repo etc. See if there is a fedora-extras.repo there. If its there open it using any text editor and checked for 'enabled=1' value under '[extras]'. If enabled is 0, make it 1.

If its not there then create a 'fedora-extras.repo' file using the same text editor and paste this in it.
Code:
[extras]
name=Fedora Extras $releasever - $basearch
mirrorlist=http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors/fedora-extras-$releasever
enabled=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-extras
gpgcheck=1
Then do a yum search and it should show like mine above. Finally install it.

PS: Once Yumex/Kyum is installed, you can enable/disable repos directly using the GUI itself.

Oh, shrikant.odugoudar thank you very much.
actually, i edited the repo files due to to switch the Pirut on.

And i got one more question.
FC5 with Openoffice 2.0.2, I removed old version and downloaded 2.0.4
but when i install the new version, i got some errors:
Quote:
Preparing... ##################################################
file /usr/bin/openoffice.org-2.0 from install of openoffice.org-redhat-menus-2.0.4-2 conflicts with file from package openoffice.org-core-2.0.2-5.2.2
file /usr/share/mime-info/openoffice.org-2.0.keys from install of openoffice.org-redhat-menus-2.0.4-2 conflicts with file from package openoffice.org-core-2.0.2-5.2.2
So What i think is to del. "openoffice.org-core-2.0.2-5.2.2", but I cannot find where the file is and if this is a right idea. could someone help?

Thanks in adv.
