ok, now i got the installer files, but when i'm installaing it, it is displaying:
"INSTALL MISSING REQUIRED DEPENDENCIES ------------------------------------- warning: There are 8 missing REQUIRED dependencies. note: Installation of dependencies requires an active internet connection. warning: Missing REQUIRED dependency: gcc (gcc - GNU Project C and C++ Compiler) warning: This installer cannot install 'gcc' for your distro/OS and/or version. error: Installation cannot continue without this dependency. Please manually install this dependency and re-run this installer." Please tell me what are "Dependencies" and how to get them. |

OP, unless you are a PAYING RedHat Enterprise customer, you will NOT have access to the online repositories, and won't be able to install the dependencies. You MIGHT be able to install any missing packages from your installation DVD, or do as routers suggested and install the PPD driver file manually. If this is a brand new installation, loading CentOS (essentially a free version of RedHat enterprise), will get you access to online patches/updates/repositories, and will let you install the missing dependencies easily. |
Okay....
Im just trying to help the OP. If you don't mind please correct me if my post here is wrong. Thanks. Maybe this one help. http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web...ard/index.html |
