cannot install Heartbeat in fedora core4 using yum :'( *sigh*
hi all.

Likely because there is no Fedora Core 4 repository any longer. They're up to version 10 and have dropped support for version 8.
Fedora is bleeding edge and updates versions very frequently. Even if it weren't FC4 would still be pretty old as distros go. From the Fedora Overview page at: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Overview Quote:
