Unhappy Cannot hear CD sound

Hi, I've just installed RH9 and most things appear to be working fine. However, I can't get any audio from CD's. The system sounds play just fine though.
I have a K7S5A Motherboard, and SiS 7012 PCI Audio Accelerator.

Any help would be appreciated,

Kaboodle

Make sure the mixer does not have the audio for the drive muted or volume control and a min level. If you do not have an audio cable connected from the drive to the sound card you will need the latest version of xmms which uses digital audio extraction.
