Cannot find kernel version in /usr/src/linux-2.6.21.5, is it configured?
Hi, I'm new in linux.
I'm trying to download ndiswrapper, but went I try to install it I get this error:
bt ndiswrapper-1.53 # ls
AUTHORS INSTALL README loadndisdriver.8 ndiswrapper.spec
ChangeLog Makefile driver/ ndiswrapper.8 utils/
bt ndiswrapper-1.53 # make
make -C driver
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/ndiswrapper-1.53/driver'
Makefile:34: *** Cannot find kernel version in /usr/src/linux-2.6.21.5, is it configured?. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/ndiswrapper-1.53/driver'
make: *** [all] Error 2
I have read for two days in internet to find out how to correct this but it has been imposable.

I'm assuming you have the kernel source installed in your /usr/src/linux directory? If so, cd to it and type (as root)
zcat /proc/config.gz > .config
make oldconfig
Now, try building your module again.
