Question Cannot find "Desktop Preference" menu in gnome using Suse 10

I'm new to Linux but I loaded Suse twice last week and the first time I did I was able to access Applications>Desktop Preference. However this last time I loaded Suse I do not have that option. I only wish to resize the icons. Any ideas?

Thanks for any help *smilz*

Gnome? it is done via Nautilus (the file-manager - just open any folder...)
Ther you got the "Edit" --> "Preferences" menu.
KDE? don't know...may be similar.

Thanks Jomen,
Just like my perl class, I'm always making the simply things difficult.

Icons @ 32 pixels

Thanks again
