Hi, I am currently running Ubuntu in VirtualBox and have installed Bitnami LAMP. I want to put PHP scripts onto my localhost Apache server however I cannot seem to find the 'www' folder. I have checked 'var' however it does not seem to be there.

Locate the "httpd.conf" file (you might be able to use locate httpd.conf, otherwise it's probably in /etc/httpd or somewhere like that...) and look for "<location>" and "<alias>" directives which tell Apache where to look for files to serve. (These directives tell it how to resolve URL paths to corresponding places in the filesystem.) You might find that this file "includes" other files in various places so you might have to poke around a bit, but "httpd.conf" is the place to start.
If you look on the Ubuntu site or google Ubuntu LAMP you will see that (/var/www) is the directory used. I have Ubuntu 10.10 installed on a partition and there is no /var/www directory because I don't have a LAMP server setup. Don't now anything about the Bitnami LAMP, do they have any documentation or setup/configuration information?
