cannot execute binary file

Hello everyone......

I am trying to install Oracle 11gR2 on OEL 5.5, when I run the $./runInstaller file it gives the following error....

[oracle@localhost database]$ ./runInstaller
./runInstaller: line 254: /tmp/database/install/.oui: cannot execute binary file
[oracle@localhost database]$

Please help me to solve this error

Maybe have you downloaded wrong set of files? (example: for zlinux or solaris..)

NO its not wrong set of files...

The way I read that, line 254 calls /tmp/database/install/.oui, and that doesn't execute.

Does it exist? has it execute permissions?
