Cannot Dual boot with Fedora after installing XP

Hello,

I have recently installed Windows XP on my laptop that previously had Windows 2003 server in a dual boot system with RH Fedora. However since XP has been installed, I can no longer dual boot the way I used to, it goes straight into XP without giving me the option of booting into Fedora or "Other". If anyone could point me in the right direction and help a Linux newbie get back on the right track again I would much appreciate it!!

Installing a windows operating system after Linux usually destroys the grub installation. You will have to re-install.

Boot your first FC disk. Go to 'linux rescue'. Issue the following commands:

Quote:

chroot /mnt/sysimage

grub-install /dev/hda
