Cannot do ssh to server

Hi Guys,

May be it will take few seconds for you to answer this.

A can access a user's profile by, doing

sudo su - user

but, the user is unable to access the machine by new ssh connection. What can be wrong. We use NIS authentication.

Few more Info:
id user -- > Shows user profile
NIS authetication enabled.

First thing to do in such a situation:

Code:

ssh -vvv user@host

and read the output carefully.
