cannot configure wifi on YDL 5.0.1
 

I just downloaded YDL 5.0.1 on my 60GB PS3 but I can't seem to get my wireless connection working. I am able to set up a wireless connection and I am able to activate it but it does not seem to work when I use mozilla. Can someone help me step by step or give me a link on how to configure the wifi??

What do iwconfig and ifconfig -a say? Can you access sites by IP address (e.g. 64.233.169.104 instead of www.google.com)? Can you ping other computers on your network?

supposedly wifi on the ps3 doesn't work quite yet.

What do you mean? How do i do that? What does ping other computers mean?? I use my PSP laptop and PS3 with my network.

See "man ping" about pinging (basically it's a simple way to test a connection to a remote host), but if the wifi on the PS3 doesn't work as St. Jimmy suggest then it may be a lost cause for the moment.

The new version does have wifi on the PS3 though.

I can get my wireless connection to be active but I still can't seem to use mozilla. Is there a way to check if my connection is working on YDL?
