Press <return> (or wait 10 seconds) to boot your Centos system from

Where did you get vmlinuz?

If you got it from a /boot directory, did you check to see that it is a compressed kernel image, and not just a symlink to a kernel image?

Cannot boot isolinux, invalid or corrupt kenel image

try to boot with a xp cd. then after quick formatting, exit and start with your linux cd/dvd

I create this isolinux cd by issue the command
[mkbootdisk]
like you say, i am trying to boot from cd, but use kernel image in the system.

the cd only contain 4.9MB of total file.

according to /etc/fstab/

that i have to boot from one of the image in the system.
but that doesn't seen to work for me.

any idea?

Thanks
Steven
