Cannot assign emblems to folder icons

It doesn't allow me to select ( right click any folder -> Properties -> Emblems ) an emblem, any ideas ? Using XFCE 4.10 with Faenza icon theme.

Question 1: Are you the owner of the folders? (are the folders in your home folder, or somewhere else in the directory tree?)

Question 2: Have you checked the folder properties to see if you have write permission in order to change the properties?

Are you not able to select any emblem at all, or just an emblem from the Faenza icon theme?

- Can you see desired emblem in list of emblems?
- What happens when you select it - any error(s)?
- Is emblem you want to use, already installed in system (you can see it in list of emblames) or a custom one i.e. added later by you?

Once go inside the emblames folder and check the file (image) type. Is it .png or something else.
