Cannot access a website
I am unable to visit http://www.centrelink.gov.au/ on my Kubuntu Jaunty operating system. I only have an issue with this website. I have tried with Firefox, Operah and Konqueror and neither of these browsers are able to view this website. I know there is nothing wrong with the website because when I try to connect to this site through one of my virtual machines I am able to view this webpage. My browsers do not have any strict setting they allow cookies java and java script. It must be something to do with the way my system is set-up but I don't have any ideas.
Errors Firefox The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. Opera Moved Permanently The document has moved here. Konqueror The requested operation could not be completed Cyclic Link Detected Details of the Request: URL: http://www.centrelink.gov.au/ Protocol: http Date and Time: Wednesday 04 November 2009 09:57 Additional Information: http://www.centrelink.gov.au/ Description: UNIX environments are commonly able to link a file or folder to a separate name and/or location. KDE detected a link or series of links that results in an infinite loop - i.e. the file was (perhaps in a roundabout way) linked to itself. Possible Solutions: Delete one part of the loop in order that it does not cause an infinite loop, and try again. Contact your appropriate computer support system, whether the system administrator, or technical support group for further assistance. |
Works fine for me from MS XP+FF 3.5.4 (at work).
This is with NoScript active. |
FF 3.5.4 with ubuntu 9.10 pulls the site as well.
