Question Can you move from 1 distro to another? (Suse to CentOS)

Hi all,

I have a suse machine and i would like to move to CentOS mainly because i am more comfortable with it. Is it possible to move from Suse to CentOS without CD's? Im not bothered about backing up date as its never realy been used but to save me downloading the CentOS distros several times (already downloaded twice & both times it was corrupt from different mirrors), can i just effectivly move to the new OS (installing over Suse)?

Thanks for your time - much appreciated

Rick

No sure that is possible. But if anything it sounds like you are wanting some kind of web install disk.

Yes - a web install disk would do, however i havn't been able to locate one for CentOS on their mirrors pages...is there a non-official one?

Thanks,

Rick

check out distrowatch.org. Maybe they might get you a good mirror.
