Can We Access www/http Through "SAMBA"
 
HELLO.. I new user of Fedora 6 and trying to configure Apache. Main thing i want is accessing HTTP folder with samba by which my Colleague can access HTTP folder to Run websites locally.

I can share folders placed on Root but when i use samba for HTTP it shows in explorer but Access Denied while opening it

Kindly help me to solve the problem

Hi, I'm afraid I'm no samba expert, but if you can see the file but not access it, it sounds like a permissions problem. The real reason I'm commenting, is that Fedora 8 is out. It is free, and contains a great many improvements. You should use the most recent version for security reasons if for no other. Bugfixes would be another big reason to use the most recent version of any distro.

Also, samba has many frontend gui tools that may help you configure it correctly.
