Can someone give a walkthough of how to install Wine?
I'm currently running Fedora core 2 and gnome. I'm having trouble with Wine and I'm not sure what I did wrong. I'm very new to linux so the more detail the better. I downloaded the newest version of Wine for fedora core 2, i686. I extracted the rpm and from everything I see on the web site it should configure itself and create the folders although it isn't. Do I need to run another program that was extracted or install windows for it to run or did I just do something wrong?

Not the answer you wanted, but try the wine source release because it has a file in the tools subdir called wineinstall which configures everything for you. If you have the devel libraries installed (and gcc, make etc) then you might actually find it easier.
