can not startx..please
i am usin mandrake10. 0
i have one error while strting startx. #startx -- :1 kde started ans said one error.the erro was the following installation problem was deteched while trying to start KDE: $HOME not set! KDE is unable to start OK this is graphical display out put. now how to resolve this...help |
set HOME to point to your home folder, for example, if your username were joe:
export HOME=/home/joe you shouldn't need to do this though... |
