can not login yahoo mail, hotmail from Redhat/ Firefox browser
 

Hello All,

I am a new Linux user. I am using Redhat 9 distro. and
Firefox as web browser.

My laptop has IP address assinged by DHCP. I can browse all sites perfectly.
Interesting thing is, when i try to login yahoo mail, my universt mail server, hotmail server

any of them is not login. shows

" The connection has timed out... "

All of them perfectly works when I switch to Windows XP.

Is that any reason for using Linux?
what should i do?

You were able to login to this site? Is it just those specific sites or all login sites?

Hello dipankar,

Have you blocked the sites in your browser's deny list? If so, it would reject them.
