Last night i have installed updates of plymouth themes and pidgin
but some how what happens is that the updates have changed my system setting and deleted xorg.conf file and some other settings and i couldn't able to get login screen either.I have recreated it using
but still i cant get Login screen and in the gui i only get a blank screen where cursor is blinking.
i have tried installing system-config-display and reboot the system after doing
#system-config-display --reconfig --noui
but it is still same still not getting login screen
I have ati radeon xpress200 on board graphics card.
I searched on google to how to install the ati graphics card on
fedora12 and found that mesa-driver-experimental could be used for fedora12
but still after installing it i found no effect in fedora12 right now it is running on a basic vesa drivers tht i have set in
With vesa driver i can able to login but when i have installed
xorg-x11-ati drivers and then do
i can see the login screen but after giving password
it just giving blank screen and return back to login screen and again asks for login.I can login through terminal with the same account but cant with the GUI.Now what to do to for that ?
