Can not install suse 10.2 because of no CD

Hi all,

I have DVD SUSE 10.2 and I can boot my PC from this DVD but after pass the welcome screen and started to install , I received the message that the installation procedure can not continue because it can not find the CD or DVD that content SUSE instaltion file .

Plse advice .

My PC : CPU intel 3.20 , ram 1024 , main DFI Lanparty pro 875 B , X800pro , 1 CD and 1 DVD RW .

Are you sure the DVD is good, do md5sum. If it is good will probably need more info - hd size and type (Raid sata etc.).

I changed DVD to primary and CD to slave then the installation procedure going smoothly .

yeh, somtimes BIOSes dont like booting form a slave well
